Comrade Jelili Olayiwola is one of the most resourceful revolutionary NATA icons in Shogunle Unit of the association in Lagos State Chapter.

A motivator par excellence!
He was one of the arrow heads of resurrecting Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) wish was once comatose at Shogunle area of Lagos for about 10 years.
He actually moved round some mechanics workshops within that environ to appeal to the technicians to start holding individual-workshop meetings when NATA could no more get its bearing in Shogunle Zone that was once the envy of all members in Lagos State; in order for the technicians to have the strength and capacity to confront whatever challenges that come their ways in a united form.
But with little promptings by the energetic Comrade Joy Omiyale who chairs NATA, Oshodi-Isolo LGA Branch, Comrade Jelili Olayiwola took up the challenge to re-group the Shogunle technicians into what is now a formidable NATA Unit of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Branch.
Born on 10th day of November, 1976 in Ilaro, Ogun State, the Abeokuta, Ogun State capital indigene had his elementary education at Eleja Primary School, Ilaro (1981-1986) before being enrolled for training as a Panel Beater at Abule Mecho (Mechanics Village) located on Lagos Road, Abeokuta, Ogun State and was supervised by Mr. Isiska Ola-Father (1986-1987).
The sudden death of his father however led to his relocation to Lagos State where he was re-enrolled for the same profession at Moroof Auto Panel Beating Works, then located at Alasia area of Ladipo, Oshodi Lagos (1988).
But due to incessant flogging and abuse, Jelili Olayiwola left there in 1990 for Ilaro to meet his mother who encouraged him to continue learning the job and who subsequently enrolled him at Abule Mecho (Mechanics Village) in Ilaro; duly supervised by one Mr. Aganrandi.
He graduated in 1996 and took up joining-man job for about One and a half years before establishing his own workshop: Jelili Olayiwola Motor Works at 20 Bello Street, Off Agege Motor Road, Ladipo Bus-Stop, Oshodi, Lagos State in 1990.
However, while being a joining-man, Comrade Jelili Olayiwola joined Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association, Shogunle Zone and was an active member until there was lackadaisical attitude by members which led to the total collapse of the association in the area.
Interestingly when NATA was revived in Shogunle area of Oshodi and members requested for committed leadership for the association, it fell on Comrade Jelili Olayiwola’s shoulders to lead the association as there was no opposition to his nomination as Unit chairman.
Comrade Jelili Olayiwola is a staunch Muslim, who is married to Mrs. Mariam Olayiwola and Mrs. Kafayat Olayiwola and the marriages are blessed with lovely children.
