It was a tense-soaked atmosphere that characterized the concluding parts of the formal launch of NATA News App in Lagos on Thursday 25th July, 2019 when the proprietor, Samuel Oloyede Oriowo launched another far reaching initiative to empower members of Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association across the country.
He gave out a Star-Prized Gift of a brand new TVS Tricycle, TVS Motorcycle and other exciting items to launch the new initiative; which he believes would enhance the lives of beneficiaries.
He noted to the amazement of guests that: “it is not because we are too rich to have determined to place a Tricycle, a Motorcycle and other valuable prizes up for grabs today through Raffle Draw, but to encourage you to seek for knowledge through constants reading of NATA News Magazine and to induce you to participate actively in our programs and on our various exciting Platforms.”
He revealed that: “Beginning from September 2019 we at Automobiles And Road Safety Initiative through our sister organization NATA News will commence monthly Auto Repair Tools and other sundry materials empowerment for NATA Members across the country.”
Comrade Jimoh Isiaka Oyinlola of Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association, Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Branch of Lagos State Chapter went home with the Tricycle, while Comrade Kazeem Yusuf of Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association, Egbe-Idimu LCDA Branch won the Motorcycle.
Other Prizes that included several gallons of Mobil Super Oil and Beacon Oil, branded Elizade’s JAC Motor Gift Items, branded Castrol Oil Gift Items and TVS branded Power Banks as well as T-Shirts were freely given out to participants through the tense-soaked draw.
Comrade Asiwaju Jacob Omonide, a notable Patron of Automobiles And Road Safety Initiative; who is also the Chairman of Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association, Lagos State Chapter implored his members to stop being miserly as to embracing laudable ideas that go along with money.
He urged the members to desist from yearning for everything free and lambasted the generality of his members for not coming to show solidarity with Samuel Oloyede Oriowo; who he said “had being with the association for a very long time; through tick and thin; striving to boost our image; not minding whether he gains monetary-wise, or not.”
He promised to provide adequate support for all Oriowo’s initiatives.
