
The new State Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos State Council, Comrade Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo has been appointed as one of the Patrons of Automobiles And Road Safety Initiative.
This was disclosed in Lagos recently by the Organisation’s President, Samuel Oloyede Oriowo who led other officials of the Non-Governmental Organisation to the Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos State Headquarters of NURTW on Congratulatory/Courtesy Visit to the Union Boss.
Samuel Oloyede Oriowo who prayed for long life, prosperity, wisdom, humility, Allah’s benevolence and grace, plenty-achievements filled tenure for MC Oluomo revealed that the formal investiture of his Organisation’s newest Patron will come up during this year’s Ember Months Road Safety Awareness Campaign for officials as well as members of NURTW, Lagos State Council; and during which program, the 4th Annual Auto Tyre Safety Day as well as Usage of Genuine Engine Oils Advocacy will be observed.
Comrade Musiliu Akinsanya who promised to welcome the officials of Automobiles And Road Safety Initiative in his office at all times; appreciated the good gesture and promised to work with the Board of Trustees of the Organisation in order to achieve its Objectives.
Meanwhile, the NGO President disclosed that there will be valuable gift items, such as brand new Motorcycles, Television Sets, Generators and Engine Oils among several others on hand at the venue of event to appreciate the participation of the officials and members of NURTW.
Samuel Oloyede Oriowo therefore, implores the officials as well as members of NURTW in the state to come out in their thousands to also honour their amiable, humble state chairman.
He revealed that his Organisation’s sister media outfit; NATA News magazine (An Automotive Care Platform) will be featuring the activities of the installation in one of its forthcoming editions and as such; it will dedicate spaces for Congratulatory/Goodwill Messages to MC Oluomo there-in.
