Deploying Technology to promote advancement of Nigerian Automotive Repair Sector

NATA News participation as Media Partners and one of the most notable Exhibitors at the November 6th to 8th 2019 West Africa Automotive Show, held in Lagos, Nigeria opened gales of opportunities for further partnerships with strong, notable automotive industry players around the world; both individuals as well as corporate entities.

And we are sincerely excited for these.

In the New Year, 2020 NATA News will seize the opportunities to assert itself as a most reliable, dominant Nigeria’s Authoritative Automotive Care Platform(s).

Though in the out-going year, 2019 there were set goals that we couldn’t meet up with, notwithstanding, we are enthusiastically setting more better, higher, attainable goals to pursue; and for once, we are set to change the face of Nigerian Automotive Industry; most especially, its Repair Sector.

Innovatively, as early as possible, we shall begin Live Trainings and Re-trainings for Nigerian Automotive Technicians and would-be Technicians round the country; but right away from other Continents of the world by acclaimed-expert Automotive Instructors.

The idea of getting Nigerian Automotive Repair Technicians to participate widely in major Automotive Events around the world shall also be vigorously pursued by NATA News Proprietors.

The need to see technology as an essential tool to solve problems, proffer solutions and promote advancement in the Nigerian Automotive Industry shall be our mission; to improve the skills of Nigerian Auto Repair Technicians in the coming year.

And honestly speaking, all these lofty ideas cannot be achieved without the support of our Distinguished Sponsors and the Nigerian Auto Technicians we are determined to enrich.

The miserly attitudes of Nigerian Auto Repair Technicians have to positively change for the better. They should learn how to seek for knowledge with their resources. Nothing good comes free!

Meanwhile, our sincere gratitude goes to the Board of Directors and Management of 11 Plc (formerly Mobil Oil Nigeria Plc), Eterna Plc (Sole Franchise Owners of Castrol Oil), Ibeto Oil & Petrochemical Limited and Beacon Oil; among several other corporate sponsors of our events and news platforms.

Special thanks to Jamie Hill, Managing Director/CEO of BtoB Events Limited, organizers of West Africa Automotive Show; the Zonal Commanding Officer of Zone 2, Federal Road Safety Corps; Sector Commanders of Federal Road Safety Corps in Lagos, Edo and Ondo States, Directors and personnel of Lagos State Vehicle Inspection Service, Edo State Vehicle Inspection Service and Ondo State Vehicle Inspection Service.

In the same vein, we appreciate the Directors and personnel of Lagos State Fire Service, Ondo State Fire Service and Edo State Fire Service; not forgetting the Nigeria Police Force (Lagos State Police Command, Edo State Police Command and Ondo State Police Command), Lagos State Drivers’ Institute (LASDRI) as well as the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) for contributing immensely to make our events huge success.

We are eager and looking forward to a beneficial partnership with the Lagos State Council of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and we sincerely hope that this shall be fruitfully as it commences in the New Year.

We thank Samuel Jesufemi Adeogun and the entire staff of NewChip Technologies Limited for designing very professional websites for NATA News and its sister organization: Automobiles And Road Safety Initiative; which many industry players have kept-on commending.

With appreciative hearts, we thank the National, Zonal, State, Local Governments as well as Unit officials and members of Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association; who formed the primary target of our endeavours and who had not let us down since the journey started.

Wishing you all, a most prosperous year 2020!!!

Happy New Year. This year will unload many great and innovative ideas that would not leave the Nigerian and even global automotive industry at the same spot. Kudos and congrats for the past giant strides.
