On Monday the 24th of December, 2018 young Stephen Oriowo and his friend, Adebisi Adeshina launched their initiative to positively touch the lives of ‘the less privileged’ members of the Nigerian society by providing them little succor to be able to celebrate Christmas ‘without tears’.
Early morning of the day, 34 widows gathered at the premises of RCCG, located on Falolu Street, Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria to benefit from 12kg packed bags of rice, vegetable oils and packs of Indomie Noodles; all purchased from the sum of One Hundred and Eighty Thousand Naira (N180,000) pulled together within 3 days from donations from friends and families.
When one realizes he/she has to give back to the society, its ‘traveling’ through the path of honour and it’s a sort of gratitude to God; for the grace of life, His divine protection and provisions.
Kudos to the energetic duo: Stephen Oriowo & Adebisi Adeshina for this laudable initiative and all their friends that ‘kindly assisted’ with cash and materials.
I pray for you all; that God in His infinite mercy will continue to enrich you with wealth, good health, wisdom, strength and grant you your heart desires in Jesus Marvelous Name!!
Pray that this Initiative will be an annual event.
***Please, note that this write-up was earlier uploaded on my Facebook Page in December, 2018 and I felt it’s still relevant to boost the morale of readers; to induce them to giving back to the society too; no matter how small.
Meanwhile, thanks for choosing NATA News as your darling Industry News Magazine!
