First tenure of Comrade Magaji Sani; a Success Story

The first term in office of Comrade (Dr.) Magaji Muhammad Sani as National President of Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) has recorded huge commendable strides.

It’s been a success story all along as the administration of the Kano State based enigmatic president was able to consummate a workable road map that every NEC member attests to as continually placing NATA on the map of the most preferred association by opening it to partnership with companies and governments alike.

During the last NEC Meeting of the Association, the President with enthusiasm rolled out the areas in which the association had performed very well.

He noted that his association in conjunction with Ammasco International Limited launched Ammasco Synthetic Engine Oil at Nera Hotel in April 2019 paving way for all NEC Members to keep afloat their financial status.

The administration carried out amendment of NATA Constitution from 2nd to 3rd Edition.

In continuation of existing partnership between the NATA and Ammasco International Limited, there was authentication of the partnership by re-signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ammasco International Limited for another five (5) years which all NEC Members agreed to.

In upgrading the skills of NATA members across the country, Mechatronic Training on heavy duty vehicles were carried out by National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC).

Ammasco International Limited fulfilling its obligations to NATA gave out One Hundred and Fourteen (114) branded automotive tool boxes to all members of NEC during the NEC Meeting of 16th September, 2020, while it has started Raffle Draws to reward loyal NATA members across the country who patronize Ammasco Engine Oils.

The President added that: “Since assuming office as the National President the demand for Ammasco – NATA customized engine oil has been on the increase and so is our quarterly rebate from Ammasco,” which according to him “has assisted us at the National Secretariat to be able to pay as at when due staff salaries, ‘rentage’, the secretariat monthly upkeep.”
