The National Secretariat of Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) has condemned the nonchalant attitude of the helmsmen at its state chapters in not promptly paying the necessary Monthly Dues to the secretariat.

This displeasure was registered by the association’s National General Secretary, Comrade Musa Yahaya when presenting his report to the NATA 7th Quadrennial Delegates Conference in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria on Monday 17th January, 2022.

Comrade Musa Yahaya noted that: “Monthly Dues is the bane of survival of any organization.” He continued: “it is disheartening to continue to re-echo the lack of payment of Monthly Dues by some state (chapters) to the National Secretariat.”

He commended Lagos, Delta, Kano, Kaduna and Edo State Chapters of NATA for their commitments towards prompt payment.

The National General Secretary gave a hint that the officials were holding their last meeting in the secretariat as the association had been given quit notice to leave the place by ending of January.

He said as soon as a new property is found and paid for, the officials would be informed accordingly.
