Comrade Musa Othman Yahaya, National General Secretary of Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) has revealed that members of his association are already keying-in into gas powered vehicles’ project of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The extrovert National General Secretary disclosed this to NATA’s 7th Quadrennial Delegates Conference attendees in Abuja on Monday 17th January, 2022 during his National Secretariat Report.
He noted that during the recent gas conversion capacity building program held in Abuja that about 40 members of NATA attended the event after paying about Twenty Thousand Naira each for Certification by Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE).

Comrade Musa Yahaya said: “So far a move to make the Federal Government believe (that) we can convert vehicles to run on gas was made.”
He further said that: “Today, these members of ours (who attended the conversion course) can successfully convert vehicles to run on cooking gas.”
He revealed that NATA is working with AutoLady Engineering Limited and AVM Energies limited in order to ensure that the program becomes successful.
He disclosed that the second capacity building course would come up in March, 2022. He therefore appealed to interested members of NATA to register for it.
