In appreciating valuable assistance as well as commendable support of its various activities, the National Secretariat of Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) during its 7th Quadrennial National Delegates Conference; held in Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory bestowed Awards on its partners as a mark of honour.
NATA’s eloquent National President, Comrade (Dr.) Magaji Muhammad Sani while presenting his welcome address to the Delegates to its association’s Tuesday 18th January, 2022 Conference noted that: “Today; our great Association (NATA), shall honour our partners who have demonstrated openly how dearly they cherish us.”
He declared that: “The Executive Governor of Borno State, His Excellency Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum shall receive ‘Award for Selfless Service to Humanity’ and will be decorated as NATA National Grand Patron.”
“The Director General/Chief Executive Officer of National Automotive Design & Development Council (NADDC), Engr. Aliyu Jelani shall receive on behalf of his Council an Award as ‘The Most Supportive Agency’ in terms of capacity building to NATA in Nigeria,” he revealed.

The NATA helmsman further said that: “While Ammasco International Limited and 11 Plc (formerly Mobil Oil Nigeria) shall receive 1st & 2nd ‘Most Supportive Lubricant Company to NATA’ in Nigeria.”
Comrade (Dr.) Magaji Muhammad Sani while concluding his speech congratulated “all the Awardees for this recognition by the only formidable Automobile Association in Nigeria,” saying “citation of each Awardees” as for the reasons the Awards were conferred on them shall be read to delegates and observers by the National General Secretary of NATA, Comrade Musa Othman Yahaya before presentation of the Awards.
The ‘Award for Selfless Service to Humanity’ conferred on the Executive Governor of Borno State, His Excellency Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum was later received on his behalf by one of his Commissioners, while Ammasco International Limited’s ‘Most Supportive Lubricant Company to NATA’ was received by Engr. Matazu, Ammasco International Limited’s Marketing Manager.

As 11 Plc (formerly Mobil Oil Nigeria) and National Automotive Design & Development Council (NADDC) were not represented at the event, the National Secretariat of NATA promised to make the Awards of both Organisations to their Managing Director and Director General, respectively at a later date.
